Floyd Mayweather will face YouTube star Logan Paul in an exhibition fight in Miami in the early hours of Sunday.

Five-weight world champion Mayweather, 44, dominated boxing for more than a decade and secured a perfect 50-0 record, and will now face 26-year-old internet personality Logan Paul, who has more than 23 million YouTube subscribers and has taken up professional boxing.

The lucrative eight-round Florida fight had been set to take place in February, but coronavirus restrictions saw the event postponed.

Six years after Mayweather retired, this isn’t the first time he has been tempted back into the boxing ring: he beat UFC superstar Conor McGregor in 2017, before Mayweather emphatically won against Japanese kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa in 2018. Both were lucrative money spinners.

Logan’s only professional bout to date came with the six-round rematch of his draw with fellow YouTube star KSI, which he lost via split decision in Los Angeles in 2019.

Here’s everything you need to know about the boxing match.

What time is Floyd Mayweather v Logan Paul start time (UK)?

Floyd Mayweather’s showdown with Logan Paul is being staged in the early hours of Sunday, June 6, at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens – home of the NFL’s Miami Dolphins.

Live coverage starts from midnight on Sunday, but the main event ring walks aren’t expected to begin until around 4am – meaning a late night/early morning for fans watching from the UK.

That 4am rough start time will depend on how long the undercard clashes take and other entertainment between fights.
